Forestry improvement as referred to in Article 1 (3) (f) shall comprise afforestation measures, measures to improve deteriorated forests and other necessary supplementary measures such as the construction of forest roads, the control of fast flowing streams and fire protection. 2. The measures referred to in paragraph 1 must be necessary for the improvement of agriculture in the area concerned by means of soil and water conservation. |
