1. This Regulation applies to Union fishing vessels used or intended for use for the purposes of fishing in the area covered under the Convention. 2. Unless otherwise stated in this Regulation, it applies without prejudice to the existing Regulations in the fisheries sector, in particular Regulation (EU) 2017/2403 of the European Parliament and of the Council and Council Regulations (EC) No 1005/2008 , (EC) No 1224/2009 and (EC) No 1185/2003 . |
