Regulation (EU) 2021/1058 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 June 2021 on the European Regional Development Fund and on the Cohesion Fund article 6 CELEX: 02021R1058-20241224 Scope of support from the Cohesion Fund
1. The Cohesion Fund shall support the following: (a) investments in the environment, including investments related to sustainable development and energy presenting environmental benefits, with a particular focus on renewable energy; (b) investments in TEN-T; (c) technical assistance; (d) information, communication, and studies.
Member States shall ensure an appropriate balance between investments under points (a) and (b), based on the investment and infrastructure needs specific to each Member State. 2. The amount of the Cohesion Fund transferred to the Connecting Europe Facility shall be used for TEN-T projects. |
