Directive 2009/148/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 November 2009 on the protection of workers from the risks related to exposure to asbestos at work (Codified version) (Text with EEA relevance) article 14 CELEX: 02009L0148-20231220 1. Employers shall provide appropriate training for all workers who are, or are likely to be, exposed to dust from asbestos or materials containing asbestos. Such training must be provided at regular intervals and at no cost to the workers. 2. The content of the training shall be easily understandable for workers. It shall enable them to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills in terms of prevention and safety in accordance with the national law and practice applicable where the work takes place. 3. The minimum requirements with regard to the content, duration and frequency of the training provided pursuant to this Article and the documentation relating thereto are set out in Annex Ia. |
