1. By 12 October 2023 and every five years thereafter, the Commission shall evaluate the functioning and effectiveness of this Regulation and present a report to the European Parliament and to the Council. Member States shall be involved in this exercise and if necessary provide the Commission with additional information for the preparation of that report. 2. Where the report recommends amendments to this Regulation, it may be accompanied by an appropriate legislative proposal. |
