The following drivers shall be exempted from the requirement to obtain an initial qualification: (a) drivers who hold a category D1, D1 + E, D or D + E driving licence, or a driving licence recognised as equivalent, issued no later than 9 September 2008; (b) drivers who hold a category C1, C1 + E, C or C + E driving licence, or a driving licence recognised as equivalent, issued no later than 9 September 2009. |
