1. Appliances shall only be made available on the market and put into service if, when normally used, they comply with this Regulation. 2. Fittings shall only be made available on the market if they comply with this Regulation. 3. This Regulation shall not affect Member States' entitlement to lay down such requirements as they may deem necessary to ensure that persons, domestic animals and property are protected during the normal use of the appliances, provided that this does not mean modifications to the appliances. |
