Limitation of the effects of Community plant variety rights Limitation of the effects of Community plant variety rights (a) acts done privately and for non-commercial purposes;

(b) acts done for experimental purposes;

(c) acts done for the purpose of breeding, or discovering and developing other varieties;

(d) acts referred to in Article 13 (2) to (4), in respect of such other varieties, except where the provisions of Article 13 (5) apply, or where the other variety or the material of this variety comes under the protection of a property right which does not contain a comparable provision; and (e) acts whose prohibition would violate the provisions laid down in Articles 13 (8), 14 or 29.
