1. Member States shall ensure complementarity and coordination between the authorities involved in anti-trafficking activities and the asylum authorities. 2. Member States shall ensure that victims of trafficking are able to exercise their right to apply for international protection or equivalent national status, including when the victim is receiving assistance, support and protection as a presumed or identified victim of trafficking in human beings. |
