1. By 2 December 2030, and every five years thereafter, the Commission shall draw up a report on the implementation of this Regulation, accompanied by a legislative proposal for its revision, where appropriate. That report shall assess, in particular, to what extent the value of the craft and industrial products designated by a geographical indication is created within the defined geographical area or elsewhere. 2. By 2 June 2026 the Commission shall carry out an evaluation of the feasibility of an information and alert system against the abusive use of geographical indications for craft and industrial products in the domain name system, and submit a report with its main findings to the European Parliament and the Council. That report shall be accompanied by a legislative proposal, where appropriate. |
