1. The manufacturer or its representative for EU type-approval, when submitting an application for EU type-approval in accordance with Article 18(1), shall provide the approval authority with an information folder. 2. The information folder shall include the following: (a) an information document; (b) all data, drawings, photographs and other relevant information; (c) a copy of the EU declaration of conformity provided for in the applicable Union legislation harmonising the conditions for the marketing of products; (d) any information requested by the approval authority in the context of the procedure for the application for EU type-approval. 3. The information folder shall be provided in paper format, or in an electronic format that is accepted by the technical service and by the approval authority. 4. The Commission shall adopt implementing acts laying down templates for the information document and for the information folder. Those implementing acts shall be adopted in accordance with the examination procedure referred to in Article 49(2). |
