Council Regulation (EEC) No 1536/92 of 9 June 1992 laying down common marketing standards for preserved tuna and bonito article 9 CELEX: 31992R1536 1. This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Communities.
It shall apply from 1 January 1993. 2. Products in stock which were labelled before 1 January 1993 may be sold until their date of minimum durability stated on the packaging. 3. By way of derogation from Article 5 (2), preserved tuna or bonito for which the terms ‘tuna’ and ‘bonito’ are associated in the trade description may be marketed for a period of three years from the date of entry into force of this Regulation.
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
