1. The holder of an EU type-approval shall, without delay, inform the approval authority that granted the EU type-approval of any change in the particulars recorded in the information package. 2. That approval authority shall decide which of the procedures laid down in Article 25 is to be followed. 3. Where necessary and after consulting the holder of the EU type-approval, the approval authority may decide that an amendment to the EU type-approval needs to be granted. 4. The holder of an EU type-approval to be amended shall submit an application for the amendment to the EU type-approval to the approval authority that granted the EU type-approval to be amended. 5. Where the approval authority establishes that, for the purposes of making an amendment to an EU type-approval, inspections or tests need to be repeated, it shall inform the holder of the EU type-approval to be amended accordingly. The procedures referred to in Article 25 shall only apply if, on the basis of those inspections or tests, the approval authority concludes that the requirements for EU type-approval continue to be fulfilled. |
