1. Member States shall ensure that the applicant is provided with the document referred to in Article 29(1) of Regulation (EU) 2024/1348. 2. Member States shall not require applicants, for the sole reason that they are applicants for international protection or on the sole basis of their nationality, to provide unnecessary or a disproportionate amount of documentation or impose other administrative requirements on applicants before granting them the rights to which they are entitled under this Directive. 3. Member States may provide applicants with a travel document only when serious humanitarian reasons or other imperative reasons arise that require their presence in another State. The validity of the travel document shall be limited to the purpose and duration necessary for the reason for which it is issued. |
