1. The competent authority of the home Member State designated pursuant to Article 31 of Regulation (EU) 2017/1129 shall supervise the following: (a) issuers of European Green Bonds as regards compliance with their obligations under Title II, Chapter 2, and Articles 18 and 19; (b) issuers that use the common templates provided for in Article 21 as regards compliance with those templates. 2. Competent authorities designated in accordance with Article 29(5) of Regulation (EU) 2017/2402 shall supervise the compliance of originators with their obligations under Title II, Chapter 2, and Articles 18 and 19 of this Regulation. 3. By way of derogation from paragraphs 1 and 2 of this Article, competent authorities shall not supervise issuers of European Green Bonds that are covered by Article 1(2), points (b) and (d), of Regulation (EU) 2017/1129. |
