1. At the request of a national authority of a participating country, the Agency shall assess national measures in accordance with the standard operating protocol provided for in paragraph 3. 2. Before assessing a national measure, the Agency shall evaluate it and analyse whether it complies with the latest scientific state of play and whether it has proven useful in addressing its declared objectives. 3. The Agency shall develop an assessment procedure. The Agency shall set out the assessment procedure in a transparent way in a standard operating protocol. The Management Board shall approve the standard operating protocol and any changes to it before the Agency applies it. 4. The Agency shall regularly inform the Management Board of the assessments it has undertaken pursuant to this Article. |
