1. The Office shall verify the continuing existence unaltered of the protected varieties. 2. For this purpose, a technical verification shall be carried out pursuant to Articles 55 and 56. 3. The holder shall be required to provide all the information necessary to assess the continuing existence unaltered of the variety to the Office and to the Examination Offices to which technical verification of the variety has been entrusted. He shall be required, in accordance with the instructions given by the Office, to submit material of the variety and to permit to verify whether appropriate measures have been taken to ensure the continuing existence unaltered of the variety. |
