Regulation (EU) 2024/900 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 March 2024 on the transparency and targeting of political advertising (Text with EEA relevance) article 27 CELEX: 32024R0900 Evaluation and review
Within two years after each election to the European Parliament, the Commission shall submit a report on the evaluation and review of this Regulation to the European Parliament and to the Council. That report shall be made public and shall assess the need for amendment to this Regulation, in particular with regard to: (a) the scope of this Regulation and the definition of political advertising in Article 3, point 2; (b) the effectiveness of this Regulation as regards specific means of political advertising; (c) the effectiveness of the transparency measures, especially the declaration and mechanisms to identify the political nature of an advertising service or of an advertisement as provided for in Articles 7 and 8; (d) the effectiveness of the rules restricting the processing of personal data for the purposes of the targeting techniques and ad-delivery techniques; (e) the effectiveness of the supervision and enforcement structure, as well as the type and amount of sanctions imposed by the Member States; |
