Member States shall take the necessary measures to ensure that any use of data entered in the EES in a manner contrary to this Regulation is punishable by effective, proportionate and dissuasive penalties in accordance with ◄ national law, Article 84 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Article 57 of Directive (EU) 2016/680. |
