1. Member States shall make available to the Commission all information necessary for the smooth operation of the EAGF and EAFRD and shall take all appropriate measures to facilitate the checks which the Commission deems appropriate in connection with the management of Union financing. 2. Member States shall communicate to the Commission at its request the laws, regulations and administrative provisions which they have adopted in order to implement the Union legal acts relating to the CAP and which have a financial impact on the EAGF or the EAFRD. 3. Member States shall make available to the Commission information about irregularities within the meaning of Regulation (EC, Euratom) No 2988/95 and other cases of non-compliance with the conditions established by Member States in their CAP Strategic Plans, about suspected fraud cases detected, and about the steps taken pursuant to Section 3 of this Chapter to recover undue payments in connection with those irregularities and frauds. The Commission shall summarise and publish that information annually and shall communicate it to the European Parliament. |
