1. The requested Central Authority shall transmit any application, request or the information contained therein in matters of parental responsibility or international child abduction, as appropriate, pursuant to this Regulation to the court, competent authority within its Member State or any intermediary as appropriate under national law and procedure. 2. Any intermediary, court or competent authority to which the information referred to in paragraph 1 has been transmitted under this Regulation may only use it for the purposes of this Regulation. 3. The intermediary, court or competent authority which holds or is competent to collect, within the requested State, information required to carry out a request or an application pursuant to this Regulation, shall provide that information to the requested Central Authority at its request in cases where the requested Central Authority does not have direct access to the information. 4. The requested Central Authority shall, as necessary, transmit the information obtained pursuant to this Article to the requesting Central Authority in accordance with national law and procedure. |
