1. Where a Member State has evidence that there is an imminent danger of the entry of a Union quarantine pest into the Union territory or into a part of it where that pest is not yet present, the Member State shall immediately notify the Commission and the other Member States of that evidence in writing. 2. Paragraph 1 shall also apply to a pest that is not included in the list of Union quarantine pests, where: (a) the pest is subject to the measures adopted pursuant to Article 30(1); or (b) the Member State concerned considers that the pest may fulfil the conditions for inclusion in the list of Union quarantine pests. 3. Professional operators shall immediately notify the competent authorities of any evidence they may have concerning an imminent danger as referred to in paragraph 1 concerning Union quarantine pests or pests referred to in paragraph 2. |
