A Member State shall notify the Commission and the other Member States where its competent authority officially confirms any of the following situations: (a) the presence in its territory of a Union quarantine pest not known to be present there; (b) the presence of a Union quarantine pest in a part of its territory where it was previously not present; (c) the presence in its territory of a Union quarantine pest in a consignment of plants, plant products or other objects introduced into, intended to be introduced into, or moved within, the Union territory.
Notifications under the first paragraph shall be made by the single authority, as referred to in Article 4(2) of Regulation (EU) 2017/625 ◄ , of the Member State concerned and through the electronic notification system referred to in Article 103. |
