1. Competent authorities shall have all supervisory and investigatory powers that are necessary for the exercise of their functions pursuant to this Regulation. 2. The powers conferred on competent authorities in accordance with Directive 2011/61/EU, including those related to penalties, shall also be exercised with respect to this Regulation. 3. The competent authority of the ELTIF shall prohibit the use of the designation ‘ELTIF’ or ‘European long-term investment fund’ in the event that the manager of the ELTIF no longer complies with this Regulation. |
