1. The Commission shall develop, in close cooperation with the Member States, an additional voluntary common addressing service, provided that the harmonised reporting interface module has been implemented fully in accordance with Article 6. 2. The Commission, in close cooperation with the Member States, shall adopt implementing acts laying down the functional and technical specifications, quality control mechanisms and procedures for deploying, maintaining and employing the common addressing service. Those implementing acts shall be adopted in accordance with the advisory procedure referred to in Article 24(2). The first such implementing act shall be adopted by 15 August 2024. |
