In Article 8a(7) of Directive 2008/98/EC, the following subparagraph is added:
‘ For batteries, as defined in Article 3(1), point (1), of Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 of the European Parliament and of the Council () ◄ , Member States shall take measures to ensure that extended producer responsibility schemes that have been established before 4 July 2018, comply with this Article by 18 August 2025. |
