1. Without prejudice to Article 34 of Regulation (EC) No 1224/2009, each Member State shall inform the Commission without delay when the uptake of the quota for Mediterranean swordfish allocated to a fishing gear type is deemed to have reached 80 %. 2. When accumulated catches of Mediterranean swordfish have reached 80 % of the national quota, the flag Member States shall send data on catches to the Commission on a weekly basis. |
