1. A notified body shall inform the notifying authority of the following: (a) any refusal, restriction, suspension or withdrawal of an EU type-examination certificate, quality system approval decision or unit verification certificate; (b) any circumstances affecting the scope of, or the conditions for, its notification; (c) any request for information which it has received from market surveillance authorities regarding its conformity assessment activities; (d) on request, any conformity assessment activities performed within the scope of its notification and any other activity performed, including cross-border activities and subcontracting. 2. A notified body shall provide the other bodies notified under this Regulation carrying out similar conformity assessment activities covering the same kinds of machinery or related products with relevant information on issues relating to negative and, on request, positive conformity assessment results. |
