Member States with fishing vessels engaged in commercial fishing activities exploiting blue crab (Portunus segnis and Callinectes sapidus) in the Mediterranean Sea shall participate in the regional research programme aiming for the sustainable exploitation of blue crab in the Mediterranean Sea, in a way that takes into account fisheries, socioeconomic and environmental objectives. |
