1. After ceasing to hold office, former public office holders shall be entitled to a pension for life payable from the date when they reached the pensionable age laid down in Article 77 of the Staff Regulations which shall apply mutatis mutandis. 2. Former public office holders may, however, ask to start drawing such pension not earlier than 6 years before reaching the age referred to in paragraph 1. In that case, a coefficient shall be applied to the pension at the moment of the request as follows: Between 6 and 4 years earlier 0,70 Between less than 4 and 3 years earlier 0,75 Between less than 3 and 2 years earlier 0,80 Between less than 2 and 1 years earlier 0,87 Less than 1 year earlier 0,95 |
