1. Each Member State shall designate the competent authority to carry out the functions and duties under this Regulation and inform the Commission thereof. The Commission shall make available to the Member States a list of all competent authorities and publish that information in the Official Journal of the European Union and make that information available in the CBAM registry. 2. Competent authorities shall exchange any information that is essential or relevant to the exercise of their functions and duties under this Regulation. |
