1. Apparatus shall be accompanied by information on any specific precautions that must be taken when the apparatus is assembled, installed, maintained or used, in order to ensure that, when put into service, the apparatus is in conformity with the essential requirements set out in point 1 of Annex I. 2. Apparatus for which compliance with the essential requirements set out in point 1 of Annex I is not ensured in residential areas shall be accompanied by a clear indication of such restriction of use, where appropriate also on the packaging. 3. The information required to enable apparatus to be used in accordance with the intended purpose of the apparatus shall be included in the instructions accompanying the apparatus. |
