1. The members other than the Union shall collectively hold 50 % of the voting rights. 2. By derogation from Article 16(4), the Governing Board shall elect its chairperson for a period of two years. 3. The Governing Board shall hold its ordinary meetings four times a year. 4. In addition to the meetings referred to in paragraph 2, the Governing Board shall also convene a strategic meeting at least once a year, with the primary objectives of identifying challenges and opportunities for sustainable bio-based industry and providing additional strategic orientation for the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking. 5. Additional chief executive officers or officers with decision-making power of leading European bio-based companies and the Commission shall be invited to the strategic meeting. |
