1. In addition to the prohibitions established in Articles 32 to 36 of Regulation (EU) 2017/2107, it shall also be prohibited to engage in directed fishery for species of thresher sharks of the Alopias genus. 2. It shall be prohibited to retain on board, tranship or land any part or whole carcass of shortfin mako (Isurus oxyrinchus) in the Atlantic Ocean, north of 5°N, caught in fisheries in the ICCAT Convention area. |
