1. Member States shall, in accordance with Community or national legislation, take the necessary measures to ensure the confidentiality of information sent to them pursuant to this Directive, and shall only use such information in compliance with this Directive. 2. The Commission shall investigate possible network and information security problems and propose appropriate amendments to Annex III for improving the security of the network. |
