(2) For ships built in accordance with the requirements of Annex I, Section 1, Chapter II-1, Part B-2, the applicable subdivision load line notations ‘C1, C2 and C3’ should be used (regulation II-1/B/11). The Arabic numerals following the letter ‘C’ may be replaced by Roman numerals or letters if the Administration of the Flag State consider this necessary to distinguish them from the international subdivision load line notation.
