Regulation (EU) 2019/2088 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 November 2019 on sustainability‐related disclosures in the financial services sector (Text with EEA relevance) article 16 CELEX: 02019R2088-20240109 Pension products covered by Regulations (EC) No 883/2004 and (EC) No 987/2009
1. Member States may decide to apply this Regulation to manufacturers of pension products operating national social security schemes which are covered by Regulations (EC) No 883/2004 and (EC) No 987/2009. In such cases, manufacturers of pension products as referred to in point (1)(d) of Article 2 of this Regulation shall include manufacturers of pension products operating national social security schemes and of pension products referred to in point (8) of Article 2 of this Regulation. In such case, the definition of pension product in point (8) of Article 2 of this Regulation shall be deemed to include the pension products referred to in the first sentence. 2. Member States shall notify the Commission and the ESAs of any decision taken pursuant to paragraph 1. |
