In addition to the tasks set out in Article 5, the Clean Hydrogen Joint Undertaking shall carry out the following tasks: (a) assess and monitor technological progress and technological, economic and societal barriers to market entry, including in emerging hydrogen markets; (b) notwithstanding the Commission’s policy prerogatives, under the Commission’s policy guidance and supervision, contribute to the development of regulations and standards with the view to eliminating barriers to market entry and to supporting interchangeability, inter-operability and trade across the internal market and globally; (c) support the Commission, including through technical expertise, in its international initiatives on the hydrogen strategy, such as the International Partnership on the Hydrogen Economy (IPHE), Mission Innovation and the Clean Energy Ministerial Hydrogen Initiative. |
