1. Community fishing vessels that have participated in krill fisheries in the Convention area shall transmit, by 1 January each year to the competent authorities of the Member State whose flag they fly, the fine-scale catch and effort data for the previous fishing season. 2. Member States shall aggregate the fine-scale catch and effort data by 10 × 10 nautical mile rectangle and 10-day period, and transmit these data to the CCAMLR each year by 1 March at the latest, with a copy to the Commission. 3. For the purposes of the fine-scale catch and effort data, the calendar month shall be divided into three 10-day reporting periods: day one to day 10, day 11 to day 20 and day 21 to the last day of the month. These 10-day reporting periods shall be referred to as periods A, B and C. 4. Detailed rules for the application of this Article shall be adopted in accordance with the procedure laid down in Article 37(2). |
