Where a flat rate is used to cover indirect costs of an operation, it may be based on one of the following: (a) up to 7 % of eligible direct costs, in which case the Member State shall not be required to perform a calculation to determine the applicable rate; (b) up to 15 % of eligible direct staff costs, in which case the Member State shall not be required to perform a calculation to determine the applicable rate; (c) up to 25 % of eligible direct costs, provided that the rate is calculated in accordance with point (a) of Article 53(3).
In addition, where a Member State has calculated a flat rate in accordance with point (a) of Article 67(5) of Regulation (EU) No 1303/2013, that flat rate may be used for a similar operation for the purposes of point (c) of this Article. |
