1. This Regulation lays down rules for the organisation, governance and management of international rail corridors for competitive rail freight with a view to developing a European rail network for competitive freight. It sets out rules for the organisation, management and the indicative investment planning of freight corridors. 2. This Regulation shall apply to the governance, management and use of railway infrastructure included in freight corridors, without prejudice to the responsibilities of the Member States regarding planning of and funding of such infrastructure. |
