Regulation (EU) 2021/821 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 May 2021 setting up a Union regime for the control of exports, brokering, technical assistance, transit and transfer of dual-use items (recast) article 28 CELEX: 02021R0821-20241108 In order to ensure that this Regulation is properly applied, each Member State shall take all necessary measures to permit its competent authorities: (a) to gather information on any order or transaction involving dual-use items; (b) to establish whether the export control measures are being properly applied, which may include in particular the power to enter the premises of persons with an interest in an export transaction or brokers involved in the provision of brokering services under circumstances set out in Article 6, or providers of technical assistance under the circumstances set out in Article 8. |
