2001/692/EC: Decision of the European Parliament and of the Council of 3 May 2001 on the adjustment of the financial perspective to take account of the conditions of implementation article 0 CELEX: 32001D0692 Whereas: (1) The financial perspective for 2000-06 must be adjusted to take account of the implementation of the budget in 2000. (2) As a result of a delay in the adoption of certain programmes relating to structural operations, EUR 6152,3 million of the allocation provided for the Structural Funds could not be committed in 2000 nor carried over to 2001. Under paragraph 17 of the Interinstitutional Agreement, this amount must be transferred to subsequent financial years by increasing the corresponding expenditure ceilings for appropriations for commitments. (3) The 2000 budget outturn does not show any need for an adjustment to the overall ceiling for appropriations for payments at this stage. The situation in this respect will be reviewed at each future adjustment exercise,
