Council Regulation (EC) No 617/2009 of 13 July 2009 opening an autonomous tariff quota for imports of high-quality beef article 2 CELEX: 02009R0617-20120701 1. The import tariff quota referred to in Article 1 shall be managed by the Commission by means of implementing acts. Those implementing acts shall be adopted in accordance with the examination procedure referred to in Article 2a(2). 2. The Commission may suspend the application of the import tariff quota referred to in Article 1 by means of implementing acts, in whole or in part, in the event that either the United States or Canada do not take the steps planned in the Memorandum of Understanding between the United States and the European Commission () or in the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Canada and the European Commission (), respectively. Those implementing acts shall be adopted in accordance with the examination procedure referred to in Article 2a(2). |
