1. Notwithstanding Article 198(5) of the Financial Regulation, only the financial capacity of a coordinator shall be verified and only where the requested funding from the Union is at least EUR 500 000 .
However, where there are grounds to doubt the financial capacity of one of the applicants or of the coordinator, the Commission shall also verify the financial capacity of all of the applicants and of the coordinator where the requested funding from the Union is below EUR 500 000 . 2. Financial capacity shall not be verified in respect of legal entities whose viability is guaranteed by Member States’ relevant authorities. 3. If financial capacity is structurally guaranteed by another legal entity, the financial capacity of that other legal entity shall be verified. |
