In addition to the tasks set out in Article 5, the Global Health EDCTP3 Joint Undertaking shall carry out the following tasks: (a) fostering productive relationships between European and African individuals, groups and institutions; (b) raising awareness of common interests and shared goals between institutions and research groups to facilitate and strengthen project and institutional collaborations; (c) contributing to facilitating alignment of global health strategies of European and African funders, institutions and authorities; (d) attracting additional investment involving partners from the private, public, and charitable sectors; (e) promoting synergies, collaboration and joint actions with the Neighbourhood, Development and International Cooperation Instrument established by Regulation (EU) 2021/947 of the European Parliament and of the Council (), in particular for capacity building and sharing facilities and infrastructures. |
