1. In accordance with Article 33(2) of Regulation (EC) No 1224/2009, each Member State shall inform the Commission by computer transmission before the 15th day of each month of the quantities of fishery resources caught by vessels flying its flag during the preceding month in the Regulatory Area, as well as in areas under the national fisheries jurisdiction of third countries and in Union waters of the Convention Area. 2. The Commission shall compile the data referred to in paragraph 1 for all Member States and forward to the NEAFC Secretariat the Union’s provisional monthly statistics of catches in accordance with the requirements approved by NEAFC. |
