1. In order to ensure the robustness and representativeness of the reference CO2 emissions of vehicle sub-groups to which a reporting period of the year 2024 or later year applies as the reference period according to point 3.2 of Annex I, the Commission shall assess the application of the conditions under which the reference CO2 emissions have been determined and determine whether those emissions have been unduly increased and, if so, how they are to be corrected. 2. If the Commission concludes that all or some of the reference CO2 emissions are to be corrected, it shall adopt an implementing act to carry out those corrections, in accordance with the examination procedure referred to in Article 16(2). |
