Regulation (EEC) No 2842/72 of the Council of 19 December 1972 concluding an Agreement between the European Economic Community and the Republic of Iceland and adopting provisions for its implementation article 13 CELEX: 31972R2842 1. No new quantitative restriction on imports or measures having equivalent effect shall be introduced in trade between the Community and Iceland. 2. The Community shall abolish quantitative restrictions on imports on 1 January 1973 and any measures having an effect equivalent to quantitative restrictions on imports not later than 1 January 1975.
