1. Integrated production facilities and open EU foundries shall be considered to contribute to the security of supply of semiconductors and the resilience of the Union’s semiconductor ecosystem and therefore to be in the public interest. 2. In order to reach security of supply and the resilience of the Union’s semiconductor ecosystem, Member States may, without prejudice to Articles 107 and 108 TFEU, apply support measures and provide for administrative support to integrated production facilities and open EU foundries in accordance with Article 18. |
